The City of Hamilton, Department of Infrastructure is celebrating Public Energy Week, October 1-7, along with more than 2,000 other community-powered, not-for-profit electric utilities that collectively provide electricity to 49 million Americans.
The City invites community members to join us for Customer Appreciation Day on October 2nd from 4-7pm at Marcum Park. Infrastructure staff will be grilling out hamburgers and hot dogs, and serving chips and cookies to community members, along with free drinks, educational displays, touch-a-truck, give-a-ways and more!
There's also a Hamilton Utilities kids poster contest open to school age children from Pre-K through grade 12. The deadline for the contest is October 18th. One winner will be selected from each grade level with all winners receiving a $20 gift card to Henry’s Candy. All entries will be displayed in the lobby of the City Building. All winners will be on the City’s Facebook page and website.
