The City of Hamilton has added 17 new parking spaces on the north side of Park Avenue between D Street and E Street. These new spaces are right next to Sutherland Park and will serve the Main Street business district and surrounding neighborhoods.
This area has been a 'No Parking' zone for years. The City's Traffic Engineering records show no information as to why this area was posted 'No Parking.' Therefore, the City made the decision to reinstate this section of Park Avenue to allow for on-street parking, resulting in the addition of the 17 new spaces.
