LSFD Awarded Safety Grant | City of Loveland
The Loveland-Symmes Fire Department has been awarded a Safety Intervention Grant (SIG) to make improvements to an emergency vehicle.
The $39k grant, available through the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation, will fund a new cot in the City of Loveland’s back-up ambulance. The grant program funds equipment to substantially reduce or eliminate injuries and illnesses associated with a particular task or operation.
The SIG is one of several grants that LSFD has been awarded in recent years, allowing the department to stretch the dollars of its public safety levies while maintaining high customer service.
