Now that all has been unwrapped, let’s talk Styrofoam. Did you know that Styrofoam never decomposes? And that Junk King has acquired a densifier with the help of a grant from Hamilton County R3Source that allows them to process Styrofoam to be recycled? Residents are welcome to drop off residential sized loads without charge!
Pictures showcase the before and after of an entire bin full that was compressed down to a 60:1 ratio. This allows the Styrofoam to be shipped more efficiently and removes all of the air so that it can be used for insulation, park benches and more!
