Veterans organizations were at City Council Dec. 6, 2022 to present several generous donations.
Harrison Mayor's Community Fund received $2,000 from American Legion Post 199, $50 from Auxiliary Unit 199 and $1,000 from VFW Duwel Post 7570. The funds are used to help local families experiencing difficult times.
Harrison Police Department received $5,000 from the Legion and $1,000 from the VFW.
The Harrison Fire Department also received $1,000 from the VFW.
