Don't Drink and Drive

Drunkdrivinguber

Village of Addyston issued the following announcement on Mar 28.

At approximately 1209 AM, the driver of a 2009 Lexus IS failed to negotiate the curve at 3300 Harrison Ave and struck a telephone pole at a high rate of speed.   The force caused four poles in total to snap and fall into the roadway.  The driver was evaluated by medics, had no injuries but was found to be operating under the influence of alcohol.  She was placed under arrest at the scene and tested nearly three times the legal limit.

At this time Harrison Ave between Boudinot Avenue and North Bend Road is shut down while Duke Energy crews clear the roadway.  We will update this post when Harrison Ave has been re-opened.
