City of Wyoming Police Department issued the following announcement on Feb 17.
Wyoming Police announces the promotion of Sergeant Jennifer Lattire to Assistant Police Chief for the City of Wyoming.
Asst. Chief Lattire has many strengths including her relationship with the community, her focus on the importance of officer training, as well as her drive to support the Police Chief as Chief Brady leads the Wyoming Police Department into the future. She served as a Field Training Officer for several years here at Wyoming PD and helped train many of our newer officers.
Asst. Chief Lattire has been in law enforcement for over 21 years. She started her career at the Hamilton County Sheriff's office where she served the people of Hamilton County for 6 years before coming aboard as a Patrol Officer at the Wyoming Police department in 2007. In January 2020, she was promoted to Police Sergeant where she has has served as a supervisor on night shift.
A swearing in ceremony will be held at the Wyoming City Council meeting on March 21, 2022 at 7:00 p.m.
