City of Forest Park recently issued the following announcement.
Temperatures at any extreme has an effect on many professions, especially firefighting. Firefighting is labor intensive. Due to increased run volume and labor shortages, it’s imperative that cities, townships, and villages band together when disaster strikes in order to mitigate emergencies quickly, efficiently, and effectively for positive outcomes. The
Forest Park Fire Department would like to thank the following departments for assisting with our fire tonight AND covering several medical details that overlapped while the fire occurred:
Woodlawn
Springdale
Colerain
Glendale
Sharonville
Fairfield
Springfield Township,
and of course, the Forest Park Police Department.
There were no medical injuries to neither the affected family, nor emergency personnel. We urge all families to have working smoke detectors and an escape plan. Contact Assistant Chief Hill if there are questions. Be safe Forest Park.
