HAMILTON HIGH SCHOOL: Hamilton City Schools and Hamilton High School Homecoming Parade and Dance Update

School

Hamilton High School issued the following announcement on September 24.

The Hamilton City School District, in collaboration with the City of Hamilton Health Commissioner, has decided to cancel the homecoming parade scheduled for September 24, 2020, and the homecoming dance scheduled for September 26, 2020, due to social distancing concerns related to the coronavirus pandemic.

As part of Ohio’s Plan to prevent the coronavirus spread, as of August 20, 2020, parades and dances are not permitted.  In addition to following State of Ohio orders, keeping our community safe and healthy is a top priority.

Throughout the homecoming week, Hamilton High School is planning events as is tradition, including the Homecoming King and Queen’s crowning at the football game on Friday, September 25, 2020.

The district will plan for possible activities, including a dance later in the year, as conditions dictate.
