Join the Wyoming Environmental Stewardship Commission and our Upcycle Day partners in keeping Wyoming the leader for waste diversion in Cincinnati. Upcycle Day is held the day before the Junk Pick Up Day and we encourage your participation in helping to reduce the amount of junk that goes to the landfill.
Participating Upcycle Day Vendors:
- Junk King: Electronic recycling (computers, TVs, radios, wires, etc.), large and small appliances, scrap metal, exercise equipment.
- Habitat for Humanity ReStore: Good condition furniture, building materials and tools, operational lighting, plumbing fixtures.
- Eco Development: Clean styrofoam, clean white or clear containers (nothing with food waste or that has been in contact with food; no tape; no stickers; no cups, clamshells or takeout containers)
- Matthew 25: Ministries: Latex, acrylic or water-based paint (no oil based paints or stains). Only original one or five gallon containers with labels will be accepted. No dried, empty or nearly empty cans. Must be usable paint that can still be stirred and free of any debris.
- New Life Furniture Bank: Accepts anything one needs to set up a home, starting from scratch. Tables, chairs, sofas, mattresses, box springs, dressers, lamps, linens, comforters, kitchen cookware, dishes, silverware, shower curtains, towels, vacuums, and rugs. Cannot accept items with rips, tears, stain,s excessive pet hair or oversized items. Check our website for a full list of items we take or call directly to schedule a pick up any time: 513-313-0530.
- Keep Cincinnati Beautiful: Tires
- Applied Arts Center of Cincinnati + Oil Express: All battery types.
- Goodwill Industries: Clothing, shoes, boots, jewelry, books, records, compact discs, and DVDs, games, toys, and sports equipment. Housewares: dishes, glassware, kitchen utensils, lamps, and small appliances. Collectibles, antiques, knicknacks, and other giftware. Hand tools and small power tools, linens, curtains, blankets, etc.
