Hubbard's Cupboard

We are so thankful for Hubbard's Cupboard impact on the school district and especially for Sam Hubbard's involvement with the Mt. Healthy community. The students were beyond excited when Sam chose Mt. Healthy to visit for a pep rally and as the location to announce his foundation.

Students of North Elementary were given the opportunity to return the favor and attend a Cincinnati Bengals practice to show their appreciation. However, it wasn’t just an ordinary practice as the students were involved in the announcement of Sam’s nomination for the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award . You can view more information on the link below about the Walter Payton Award, but here is a quick summary, “Representing the best of the NFL’s commitment to philanthropy and community impact…what is considered the league’s most prestigious honor.”Walter Payton Man of the Year Award Details: https://www.nfl.com/honors/man-of-the-year/

At the conclusion of practice, students on the sideline held up signs to announce his nomination for the award. Afterward Sam talked with Mt. Healthy parents and students while Bengals players signed balls for the students, provided by the Sam Hubbard Foundation. To commemorate Sam's philanthropy, the Mt. Healthy City School District presented him with an honorary #94 Fighting Owl football jersey.

Thank you to the Sam Hubbard Foundation, Hubbard’s Cupboards, and the Cincinnati Bengals for making lifelong memories for our students.
