Residents beware! We are hearing from many people over the last few days that they are receiving calls from people claiming to be with the Wyoming Police Department or the Hamilton County Sheriff’s office who are instructing residents to withdrawal money for failing to appear after being subpoenaed to testify or to bail out a loved one.
These are scam calls. DO NOT give them any information or follow their instructions. Police departments will never call you and demand money. They will never call you to inform you that there is a warrant out for your arrest either.
