Authentic Assessment in Large Courses
Co-hosted by the Howe Center for Writing Excellence (HCWE) and the Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE)
Participants will consider principles for authentic assessments and how they can be enacted in large courses. Guest presenters Stacey Lowery Bretz (chemistry), Scott Sander (teacher education), and Mike Brudzinski (geology and environmental earth science) will share examples of their assessments.
