On Monday, Feb. 24, former Lasalle High School standout Gavyn Smith’s current college team, the Findlay Oilers, won 2-0 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Lewis Flyers.
The game took place at J. Page Hayden Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Flyers this season.
The Oilers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 1 p.m. at Welch Athletic Complex against Charleston Golden Eagles.
